Arthur's Seat

A considered new build on the slopes of Arthur's Seat, where the interior finishes needed to honour a classic country-estate aesthetic while performing to modern standards. Working alongside Darling Builders, we delivered the bathroom and interior tiling across the home — handmade white ceramic square tiles set as wainscoting with a traditional chair-rail, marble vanity tops with grey veining, and marble floors laid in a precise herringbone pattern. Every set-out was resolved around the symmetry of the joinery, the bridge-style tapware and the fluted glass shower enclosures, so the tiled surfaces read as part of the architecture rather than an afterthought. The result is a series of quiet, enduring bathrooms that sit comfortably within the home's farmhouse vernacular.
